There are numerous misconceptions about what a course of study in 'Anglistik' really entails. To better prepare prospective students about the common misconceptions of studying in one of the University of Freiburg English Department degree programmes before beginning their studies, we have asked current students what they have found to be the most common misconceptions and have listed them below.
