Eva Rüskamp is a doctoral student at the Chair of American Studies and conducts research in the interdisciplinary field of Environmental Humanities and the Cultural Studies.

Besides working and teaching at the University of Freiburg, Eva Rüskamp represents the interests of Doctoral Students in the Faculty Council of Philology and the University Senate. With her colleague Léna Remy-Kovach, she also runs a get-together for doctoral students at the English Department (EnglishDocSFR).

EDUCATION


Eva Rüskamp holds a M.A. degree in American Studies from Humboldt-University Berlin. She has studied English and American Studies, Sociology and History at the University of Freiburg, the University of Oregon and the University of Western Brittany. Most recently she spent a semester researching and teaching at the Department of Sociology at UT Knoxville.
