ACADEMIC BACKGROUND


I received my PhD in Foreign Language and ESL Education from the University of Iowa in 2018, my MA in TESOL from the School for International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont, in 2008, and my BA in German from Miami University in 1996. I have taught in the US, Germany, Norway, South Korea, and Japan.

ACADEMIC INTERESTS


My teaching and research interests include several areas of writing, including short non-fiction writing, academic writing, second language writing, intercultural rhetoric, writing center studies, and plagiarism; multicultural education; family language policy; and content and language integrated learning (CLIL).
