In 2017, I was given an award by the department's student council (Auszeichnung für exzellente Lehre, für Engagement und herausragende Leistungen in der Lehre).
I have also undergone further training in university didactics (Bavarian Certificate of University Didactics, E-Learning Certificate) and I have taught foreign language classes at several secondary schools (German, English and French) and at university level (German only). I have also offered a teacher training course called Linguists' Little Helpers: mit Online-Tools sprachliches Feedback erleichtern und verbessern.
Applying Linguistics in the Foreign Language Classroom
I was awarded the 2017 University Teaching Prize (Lehrpreis der Universität Freiburg) and the 2017 State Teaching Prize (Lehrpreis des Landes Baden-Württemberg) for my seminar Applying Linguistics in the Foreign Language Classroom.
